How should I choose a neighbourhood in the GTA?
Start from your daily life, not from a map of prices: where you work, which schools matter to you, and whether you want a house or a condo. Shortlist two or three areas, then visit each on a weekday morning and on a weekend before you look at a single listing.
Why do prices differ so much inside one neighbourhood?
Most of the gap is the land. A wider or deeper lot, a quiet street instead of a busy one, a ravine behind the house or a better school boundary can separate two homes that look alike from the curb. The house itself is often the smaller part of the difference.
Which GTA areas do Iranian-Canadian families choose most?
North York and Richmond Hill have the longest-established Persian communities, with shops, restaurants and services along Yonge Street. Many families looking for more space at a given budget move north to Aurora and Newmarket, and keep their ties to the Yonge corridor.
